Meet Democrat Savet Constantine

Democrat Savet Constantine is a community leader, former marketing executive, wife, and mother running to be our next state representative. A former PTA president at the Wilton Public Schools and a leader at the PTA Council, Savet understands the powerful impact an engaged community member can have. Savet and her husband, Craig, have lived in Wilton for over two decades, where they raised their two children. Savet will fight for our communities, just like she championed our kids in the schools.

Savet earned her B.A. from Carleton College, a Master's of International Affairs from Columbia University. Born and raised in Minnesota, her commitment to community started at an early age in the small Greek Orthodox community in St. Paul. Her daughter is pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia, and her son is majoring in physics at Carnegie Mellon University. Both are graduates of Wilton Public Schools.

Education

I know how important it is to keep our students and teachers safe, and our schools strong.

Reproductive Rights

I will always stand up to the national Republican assault on women's rights and defend choice.

Affordability

We need to take commonsense steps to lower costs for families and small businesses.

Seniors

Our seniors deserve to have a retirement they can enjoy in a home they love. I'm going to help.

Taxes

Democrats have cut over one billion dollars in taxes over the last four years. I'm going to keep that momentum going.

Economic Growth

Connecticut's economy is recovering, but too slowly. I'll cut red tape and taxes to help.

"As a problem-solver and dedicated community advocate, I care for my community. I want to see our towns thrive, and I am prepared to serve and champion our community in Hartford. I want to get things done and done correctly." —Savet Constantine
